"Whispers of the Unseen" is all about teamwork and facing off against each other. You're in a spooky mansion, and there's this powerful Elder God waking up. He's itching to get followers for some creepy ritual. Four players as brave detectives, trying to stop the Elder God.
There are two sides: the detectives and the Elder God.
As a detective, you take turns drawing cards, using items, and dealing with whatever spooky events pop up. Watch out though, some items can mess with your head and turn you into a cultist without the others even knowing. These encounter cards throw all sorts of challenges your way, from danger to chances to escape, and you've got to work together to tackle them.
The Elder God, sort of like a game master, picks their identity and sets the rules at the start. They can roam around, checking out what the detectives are up to, but they can't talk. They communicate with cultists through a special board.
